As part of the Arts in Education Evening Series program, composer and ethnomusicologist Tyron Cooper gave a performance/talk about music and diversity on November 10, 2017, at the Batesville Memorial Public Library. The event was well-attended and was a wonderful opportunity to widen musical and cultural perspectives. Thank yous to Beth Enneking, RAA hospitality chair, who provided beautifully presented, delicious refreshments for the approximately forty people in attendance and to Mike Kruse, BMPL Director, who made the library available to us.
