Dr. Mark Webb visits BMS Choirs virtually

The BMS choirs recently had the opportunity to video chat with choir director and college

professor Dr. Mark Webb, thanks to the BAAC’s Arts in Education program. Dr. Webb has been

teaching choirs of all kinds for 45 years and had so much musical expertise to share with the

students.

Each choir performed 3 songs and afterwards, Dr. Webb did a workshop on each song. He

gave the classes specific things to work on in order to improve their performance. Some

examples are the blend and balance between each voice part and breath support in certain

parts of the songs. It is very helpful to receive feedback from a variety of musicians and we are

grateful that the BAAC provided this wonderful learning opportunity to our choirs!
