Miss Lizzie comes back St. Louis School for a second visit

St. Louis school had artist Lizzie Russell back for a second visit to teach a new group of students basic information on dance history and dance moves. Grades kindergarten, fifth grade, and first grade all were able to see a wonderful presentation on dance. Students got to see ballet slippers, tap shoes, and Character shoes. She told them about a ballerinas typical day and then had them try out basic ballet positions Mrs. Russell also taught them a simple line dance and gave a demonstration on tap dancing. The students thoroughly enjoyed all the movement and learning about a new artform.
